The Stationary Acoustic Working Group has several ranked priorities:

Providing guidance for choosing appropriate auto-classifiers (range maps, buffers, etc.)

Providing guidance on how to process large volumes of data

Compiling regional lists of species which have overlapping acoustic characters

Ranking habitat features by species

Providing guidance on the process of manual vetting

Estimating the full cost of stationary acoustic monitoring
-
Studying detection probabilities with clutter
-
Creating a pros and cons document for full-spectrum vs zero-cross data collection
-
Establishing methods for keeping detectors safe and secure from humans/animals/weather
-
Making recommendations for working with private landowners
