Northeast Bat Working Group

The Northeast Bat Working Group is comprised of individuals representing a number of organizations, companies, and government entities. Members include many of the leading bat researchers in the Northeast US, along with several other individuals with interest in the research, recovery, and education about bats.

The Northeast Bat Working Group Meeting is held each year and hosted on rotating schedule of locations throughout the Northeast. Participants present results from previous studies, provide updates on long term projects, and plan future multi-state collaborative endeavors. State representatives provide summaries of their state's bat related activities, while federal representatives provide updates on national scale policy and protection efforts.

NEBWG 2024 has ended. The 2025 Northeast Bat Working Group Meeting will be held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Stay tuned for updates on next year's conference!
