NABat CoP Call: Advancing Our Understanding of Bats Through Community Science

Community science efforts all across the NABat continental network are helping to advance what we know about bats. Join us, Wednesday, May 7th from 11:00am - 12:30 pm (Mountain Time) as we hear from a panel of community science program leaders working with volunteers to collect bat-related data through emergence counts, stationary and mobile acoustics, and more! 

Panelists will provide some background on their collaborative efforts including successes, lessons learned, methods for recruiting and training volunteers, and why and how the data are used, analyzed, and shared. We plan for the discussion to be interactive so bring any questions you have or updates you'd like to share regarding similar efforts you or your agency/organization are involved with.
