Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Seeking Proposals
The Wildlife Diversity Program of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is requesting proposals from organizations and agencies interested in partnering with the TPWD to implement high-priority portions of the Texas Conservation Action Plan (TCAP). TPWD is seeking proposals to gather information on the diversity, distribution, and conservation status of priority groups of Species of Greatest Conservation Need. Under topic area 5, the solicitation specifically asks for proposals focused on clarifying the population connectivity and movement ecology of Myotis velifer populations in Texas and the potential role of these factors in the spread and impact of white-nose syndrome. Review the solicitation at the link below and be sure to contact the taxa-specific Nongame and Rare Species Program biologist to discuss and refine potential proposals.
Proposals are due close of business April 15, 2021.
