FBB Data Submission Checklist
This checklist summarizes the steps described in the USFWS Florida Bonneted Bat Regulatory Survey Data Submission Protocol (see Downloadable Resources below) which are an accompaniment to the Florida Bonneted Bat Consultation Guidelines. Each button below leads to a section of the data submission protocol. Clicking on the bullet points in the checklist will lead to specific steps within each section. Asterisk indicates instances where these guidelines differ from general NABat guidance and special attention should be taken when reviewing these sections of the protocol.

Fill out "FBB_DB_KP_Stationary_Acoustic_Metadata.csv" template

Complete metadata fields ("NABat_Metadata_Form_Kaleidoscope_Stationary.xml")

REPEAT ABOVE STEPS FOR ALL SURVEY EVENTS

Change input directory to parent folder with all processed files
-
Select appropriate output directory and uncheck "WAV (or W4V) files"

Change metadata form (NABat_Stationary_Meta_Output_Only_KPRO.xml)

Process files
-
Locate and review "meta.csv"*
-
Make sure all files that must be moved out of NOISE folders are moved*
-
Add weather parameters to "meta.csv" (if not done during processing)*
-
Change any "COTO"/"CORTOW" values to "CORA"/"CORRAF" in "meta.csv"*

Rename "meta.csv" if not already renamed following guidance (i.e., use project name)*

Fix all errors if any present - re-upload metadata CSV if necessary using same file name

Create tarball files for data to be uploaded into Partner Portal (<3GB per tarball)

Explore project and check for errors - if errors found, edit metadata CSV and re-upload

Add final deployment and processing notes in Partner Portal (if any)

Contact USFWS FBB Lead to inform of completed data submission*
